The Rose Festival in Kazanluk

Annually, in early June, the Rose Festival takes place in Kazanlak. The event has attracted lots of visitors from Bulgaria and abroad for more than one hundred years. The festival is dedicated to the rose, known in Bulgaria as the “Queen of flowers” and a symbol of youth and beauty. Apart from the rich musical programme with folk songs, dances and a beauty contest, the festival includes ritual rose-picking in the fragrant rose fields and rose-distillation afterwards. All visitors are invited to take part in these rituals and to feel the spirit of this unusual corner of Bulgaria. Sunset hotel

I am really satisfied with the staff and accomodation. I would recommend it my friends. It is a perfect place for spending free time with family. So i hope that in the future this hotel would only improve their service.
